Lenny Schmidt has been a traveling Stand-up Comedian for over thirty years. In "Total Schmidt Show", Lenny sits and chats with other entertainers he runs in to as he travels. Comedians, singers, dancers, singers, song writers, magicians.... everyone who has built a career traveling and performing live on stages, cruise ships, theaters, TV, film, comedy clubs, concert halls, bar mitzvahs, strip clubs, or alleys. Some you will know. Some you will not. We shine a light on the working (not famous) live entertainer.
TSS was inspired by Lenny's previous podcast, "Quarantine Comedy", During the pandemic, Lenny spoke with other live performers about how they got through that difficult time. Everything from Zoom shows, Parking lot comedy, and streaming concerts.

On 4TSS155 we have easily one of my favorite people in the entire world. Melissa McLaughlin is an amazing singer, solist, performer who I don't get to see enough. Her show is a beautiful thing to watch. A powerful, angelic voice combined with a brilliant song selection and an heartfelt connection with the audience brings an fantastic show to everyone. Audiences love her almost as much as I do. She's become a good friend. It's obvious as we talk about our personal lives. Melissa has an amazing effect on everyone she meets. She has on me.
