Lenny Schmidt has been a traveling Stand-up Comedian for over thirty years. In "Total Schmidt Show", Lenny sits and chats with other entertainers he runs in to as he travels. Comedians, singers, dancers, singers, song writers, magicians.... everyone who has built a career traveling and performing live on stages, cruise ships, theaters, TV, film, comedy clubs, concert halls, bar mitzvahs, strip clubs, or alleys. Some you will know. Some you will not. We shine a light on the working (not famous) live entertainer.
TSS was inspired by Lenny's previous podcast, "Quarantine Comedy", During the pandemic, Lenny spoke with other live performers about how they got through that difficult time. Everything from Zoom shows, Parking lot comedy, and streaming concerts.

I worked with Vince over the last week or so.
Vince is my favorite kind of comic. When he works a room, he works the whole room. It's great to watch. You never know where the show is gonna go. he's a good friend. We spent the whole week together. Dinner, coffee, gym, drinks.... and a heck of a lot of shows. You never really know who youre going to work with on the ships. Every once in a while it works in your favor. It did this week.
