Lenny Schmidt has been a traveling Stand-up Comedian for over thirty years. In "Total Schmidt Show", Lenny sits and chats with other entertainers he runs in to as he travels. Comedians, singers, dancers, singers, song writers, magicians.... everyone who has built a career traveling and performing live on stages, cruise ships, theaters, TV, film, comedy clubs, concert halls, bar mitzvahs, strip clubs, or alleys. Some you will know. Some you will not. We shine a light on the working (not famous) live entertainer.
TSS was inspired by Lenny's previous podcast, "Quarantine Comedy", During the pandemic, Lenny spoke with other live performers about how they got through that difficult time. Everything from Zoom shows, Parking lot comedy, and streaming concerts.

Karen Grainger is a female impressionist, not female impersonator. She puts on a great show. She has amazing range... Cher, Janice Joplin, Reba.... to many to list here. She's been working numerous crusie ;lines for several years. In fact she's at the point in her career where shes appoachimng retirement. Slowly cutting back on her scheduled gigs.Plans to play more golf and mentor new performers. She has a small list of clients she works with to get them ready for a career on ships as well. We had a great chat in Juneau Alaska.
